INTERACTIVE

I worked with Al Jazeera on Life on Hold, an interactive project about Syrian Refugees, and helped Simon Fraser University develop an ambitious interactive installation series as part of its 50th Anniversary celebrations. Can't wait to see what the next interactive challenge on my horizon will be.

From 2011-2014 it was my privilege to carry out a long-term contract as a writer and interactive producer for The National Film Board of Canada’s multi-award-winning Digital Studio. Surrounded by a talented team of designers, programmers, and creative technologists, I became fully immersed in this emerging hybrid art form, which employs a blend of cinematic, radio, and gaming storytelling techniques.

While there, I worked on a variety of interactive projects for web, tablet, phone, and live setting that garnered international attention for their novel approaches to storytelling, using technology, data, social media, non-linear narrative to get their messages across.

We won lots of awards. It was pretty cool.
